tiny dynamite is about being treated more like a product than a person; something for other people to manipulate, direct, define and deceive. i’ve been in the music industry since i was 10 years old, and this song encapsulates the rollercoaster of the emotional pull in all directions that i’ve felt throughout my time as an artist. it’s about knowing and standing strongly in who i am through my own eyes, but looking vastly different through somebody else’s. and the deceit that comes with the lure of promises, and the inability to see them through. over and over and over again. so i guess it’s just about that. the attempts to morph into a certain mold, and the realization that i’ll never fit unless i build the box. i’ve been holding onto this one and couldn’t wait to drop it to celebrate Sound’s move to an open platform. here’s to artist AUTONOMY BABY.
