Fever is about indecision. It's also a bit about me and last summer. I made it last April, feeling kind of behind on life, love, and my career, and felt that even though summer had yet to begin, it was already getting away. Summer being literal and figurative in the sense that we collectively romanticize it. The project is homemade expressionism channeled into pop music. The core of the song is self-written and self-produced. It follows me moving on (kind of) and loving again (kind of).
