The Demo Days: Hold On To Me (May 30th, 2018) I actually wrote this song before I met David. I almost never take lyrics and put them over a new beat, but when David played me this later that year, the chorus jumped right back into my head. The melodies and lyrics fit perfectly. 

 David is a great guitar player and that melody he cooked up on this one is like walking on clouds before a storm. Lyrically, I think the heart of this song is the bridge. Acknowledging the fact we will eventually lose everyone we Love, or that they will lose us, is devastating. Yet, most of us continue to Love deeply, because all the inevitable pain is worth the beauty our Loved ones bring into our lives. What a magnificent tragedy it is, to be human.
