This song is an outpouring from my deep held spiritual understanding that We are One. We are the same energy, facets of the One Divinity. Reflections of each other as aspects of ourselves. Lyrically, i sought to make bold declarations around the Hope i have for Love to unite us. Basically, this is like a Gospel song. This is actually the 3rd finished version of the same song concept. i don't always rework songs to create variants that can standalone but this piece is definitely that. Psychedelic Electronica, Blues, and Experimental Alternative sounds are blended together to create a soundscape i'm calling HomoTechnoFuture. i heard C (grimes) talk about the concept of Homo Sapiens evolving with technology. This new subset of humans would be the Homo Techno. That idea really resonated with me and i tried to sonically integrate a futuristic techno vibe with the basic bluesy guitar and bass foundation. It may take a reprogramming for us to function as One, but we will.
