This song explores the bittersweet nature of maturing through life. As I continue down my path towards fulfillment, I find that the road grows ever more narrow. I've noticed how many of friends demeanor has changed. Those who were once hopeful for the future have now adopted paradigms of bitter acceptance. Many I haven't spoken to in years. This songs serves as a snapshot into my psyche as I contemplate the current state of my journey, both conceptually and sonically. This piece is dear to me as I let go of all mainstream expectations, and made something that excites the creative in me who longs for experimentation. I think I would label this as alternative/experimental rap, although I don't think that matters. I hope you can get as lost in this piece as I did.
