About Have Some Fun! The sentiment of this song is pretty simple. Life needs to be fun to balance the monotony. You have to take some great chances. Might as well roll with someone you're going to take chances with, have that physical and psychological attraction to, and multiply the fun. Then you might as well just go all night, all day, and everyday making things happen. Now life is never monotonous. All you know how to do is Have Some Fun! I wrote this song over a period of years. The first and subsequent drafts were drab....not so much fun. lol. But one day, Rich and I were messing with it again and it just clicked. I believe it was a breakthrough for me to just say, the hell with it, we just have to have fun with it. I was in a very joyous and 'loose' emotive state and the song transformed. And it is still transforming. We will remix this song so that it is 10X more fun but you have an opportunity to own part of the original. Go ahead and Have Some Fun! About Ransom Kong: Ransom Kong was initially comprised of lifelong friends Richard Zeuch and Ransom Kong from Kihei, Maui. They wrote some stinkers early in their career including a laugher called, 'Essence of Cesspool Scum' (Punk genre of course). Ransom went to LA and Richard to Baltimore among other places to pursue music, performing with bands and writing songs. After many years, they reconnected upon their return to Maui to hone their songwriting style and sound. Some of their songs have been commented on having inklings of Death Cab for Cutie, The Pixies, The Beatles, Harry Styles among others. They're fans of most genres and let their eclectic tastes shine in the music. Later, Sylvain Audet, bass extraordinaire and hard working engineer-producer joined them to bring an extra polish to the sound. Likewise, he is a lover of many music genres, especially funk. Sylvain has played and studied with master bass teachers and serves as music director for side music projects. This trio creates studio delights and are just itching to stretch their combined creative powers. New music is slated for release in late fall to winter of 2023.
