Emotions explores the complex push and pull dynamics that can sometimes exist in relationships. If everything isn’t perfect, should I leave? Or do I love you or this so much, maybe more than myself, that I am willing stay and tolerate less than I deserve? We’ve all been here. Healing is my Superpower and Music is my weapon. You probably know me best for T-Shirt and Impossible. I’ve written songs that you know, for and with major artists like Bruno Mars, Pitbull and Rihanna but I also write for myself. I got sick and tired of feeling like a slave at Universal so here I am in web3 banking on myself and building with my supporters and other like-minded Creatives. I wrote Emotions years ago, in the midst of battling myself in a war of Passion. I fell deeply in love with someone who couldn’t truly be mine. A wild love. I struggled. Is this a conflict worth battling? Or simply just the Universe’s funny way of making sure I never take love for granted? I couldn’t figure it out. So I wrote a song instead. Never happened since sadly he’s locked up. So what you hear in the bridge is actually me modulating my voice to reflect his style and cadence. Rarely do I share the behind the scenes stories and process of my art or how I approach writing for others. Humbly letting you in. I know many talented visual artists, but I wanted to try an experiment. The artwork including the Golden Egg, was created by AI, prompted by images of me and the lyrics of the song. I wanted to experiment to see what my words and feelings would inspire. So the art is truly unique and specific to Emotions. It’s also the 1st AI art I ever created.
