I wrote Letting Go when I flew out to LA from my home country, New Zealand, for the first time. Meeting so many other artists and just feeling the energy of the sprawling city left me feeling super inspired, and led to me writing the song. I sent the instrumental to Poe Leos’ and she sent back a bunch of acapellas’ that she thought could work, we landed on the ‘Letting Go’ acapella and it fit so perfectly.
