“and since i left i don’t think about you i fantasize” … sometimes when you say goodbye to someone you love, it’s so much easier to romanticize the past rather than think about what went wrong. this song represents that emotion for me and anyone going through something similar. it’s also my first song with a complete beat switch which now i’ve realized is a bit of a metaphor for the “fantasizing” vs the reality
