I really miss when Ludacris was in every DJs rotation. 'Peanut Butter Cherry' is me explaining how I am really missing everything that is nostalgic (for me, the late 2000s/early 2010s) while making sure the song (& myself) still feels good. PBC opens with my brain saying, "I been at this function, I been smoking something, idk who this is, guess we some hooligans, it's hard to get thru this shit, can you play some more Ludacris, cus it's hard to get through this shit" in a low pitched voice. Not sure if it is the devil or angel on my shoulder, but it is definitely telling me to leave this party and spend my time doing what I actually enjoy. Shout out Luda & again, thank you soooooooo much for making being an independent artist possible. this is very real
