Welp... This songs inception came after an evening that could have been written into a coming of age Shakespeare dramedy. Sparknotes version... Finding a love interest canoodling with a friend.. in your own house... only to turn around and say, it's you they're really interested in... The confusion!! The beat for YEAHYEAHYEAHYEAH... was actually conjured up over 6 months prior to it being written while living in the old Hollywood home of famed director Orson Welles (Citizen Kane), and Frank Sinatra among other notorious names. After our aforementioned incident.. the beat was pulled up again, and the lyrics "you make me depressed" were penned giving the original demo the title "DEPRESSED" before renaming it to "YEAHYEAHYEAHYEAH..." for the album release.
