We are the Bored Brothers. A fully animated NFT-based recording artist project developed and executive produced by Ryan Tedder (OneRepublic) and KYGO. As avid NFT / Web3 enthusiasts, we conceived the idea of auditioning some of our Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) apes to form an animated, multi-genre duo based primarily in dance and hip-hop. This project stems from an overwhelming desire to curate and create music outside our respective genres. We’re flirting with everything from deep house to Miami bass and deeper dance genres like Phonk. The Bored Brothers are musically unlike any other DJ/artist project. With the actual Bored Ape NFTs themselves as the artists - the world we live in is unlimited, both visually and dimensionally. We live and work in the real world and in real venues as easily as the metaverse itself. There will be collaborations, there will be experimentations, and there are no rules. We care about having a good time, always bringing the party, and seeing the world while in the process. Our lead single, “DRIP,” helps set the wave but is just one piece of the Bored Brothers puzzle. All shall soon be revealed.
