He sent me a lil stack of stems and I held on to them for 2 months before cracking them open to find a 15 second disco loop which became the bulk of the production on Trippin Out. I loved the quirky bass sounds and the disco strings so much. I recorded a first draft but something felt off. I was bored so I sped it up to be like "haha funny tik tok gen z fast version" but it ended up being so fire and i was like damn this new generation is on to something chipmunking everything. Added some production and then I sent the song to edwin knowing his perfect angelic voice would sound delicious on this and - to no one's surprise - he hit every mark. He bodied me and had even more clever bars about shrooms and love. I was jumping with joy when I heard it.
