“Hit Replay” is my first venture into R&B, the genre that first made me fall in love with music. The track is about reflecting on a past relationship through a new lens of emotional maturity. Hit Replay touches on how issues with vulnerability & opening up ruined a great relationship & explores the idea of the new me trying again & simply "hitting replay". Given how real the lyrics were, I wanted to keep the sound simple and just tell my story. Hope you enjoy!
