"Last June" started as a pitch idea for Dominic Fike, but as the song progressed I knew I had to keep it for myself. I began writing it on the long days while driving across the country from Connecticut to LA. I had a lot of time to reflect on both the harmony and dissonance between the past and the future, ultimately landing in the reality that I'll never really know what's in store for me until it meets me.
