I was playing around with the sample, threw it in a sampler and chopped it up. The inspiration was there. I found some vocal chops that fit perfectly and the idea was finished quickly, but when I went back to submit I saw the window had closed. Fuck. Over the next couple months I would open the project up and work on it from time to time, get high, listen to the mix, think it was trash and that the idea wasn't good enough to finish, but I powered through. After a lot of trial and error and many different versions I acheived the balance I was looking for.
