The guitar riff is based off of a Wes Montgomery lick that I learned. I switched it up to make it a completely different thing. Justin Lawrence on the violin there. I sent him the song, and he sent me back these 2 takes, which I was supposed to comp together into one track, but I loved how it sounded with both of the takes happening simultaneously, so I went with that. He worked at Moog for a bit, so you can probably imagine how crazy his pedalboard is (he hand-built the whole damn thing). A true wizard of sound.
