This song came to me one night in a frenzy. I just had a lot of emotions about someone really special to me that I held dear. They were no longer in my life, partly because it was my decision and the right thing to do but that didn't mean I wasn't hurting. In the aftermath of a ten year relationship ending I thought to myself, who am I without this person? Why did I feel the need, to NEED somebody? Making someone your "Everything", at least for my existence was a recipe for disaster. I that learned too late. If you give everything to someone, what do you have left for yourself?
