After connecting a few months back, ProbCause sent me some beats to check out. I instantly gravitated towards this one in particular (Often Told), and from there the process was seamless. I wrote/recorded my verse a few days later, then sent him the stems to do the same. The song came together very naturally. We didn't even really discuss the direction of the lyrics or message. We just started to write and let the beat lead the way. This song explores themes of resilience, defiance, and embracing one's truth. It emphasizes the importance of remaining authentic and level headed, even when faced with moments of turbulence and adversity. Creating this track with ProbCause was a special experience.. I remember listening to his music when I first started out, and the positive impact it had on me. He was someone that inspired me to take my music/artistry more seriously. To keep pushing and evolving my craft. So, being able to hop on a track with him meant so much.
