It has a nostalgic, wistful perspective that swirls youthful metamorphosis, hope, regret, concessions, resolutions, and the wishful introspection of someone grappling with the proverbial question: what if I had gone another route? “at the heart of much of my songwriting is introspection. we have all been forced to pivot in some way in 2020 due to circumstances beyond our control. but what if we could stand at the crossroads in our lives and really dig deep into the hope, regret, resolutions, and concessions we have made and must still make to get us to our authentic selves and better choices. 'too late, too soon' embodies all that internal struggle I certainly grapple with and I like to think others do too. I keep digging in, knowing I have changed but into who?
