The infestation solved, the party meets their employer, the leader of an information brokering clan, and rescues her from assailants. To the clan's keep they go where they meet Valik, a demi-god of trickery whom the clan serves. The employer brings the demi-god her delivery, one of the god's 9 missing eyes. To the groups surprise, and the god's amusement, the bard reveals his own treasure, another of the eyes, for a personal reward. Negotiations are made, deals are brokered, and a quest to retrieve the rest of the eyes begins.
