65 was inspired by a Jimmy Buffet quote that I read in Life Magazine, he said "I don't believe in waiting until you're 65 to enjoy your times". I have always believed in this philosophy, especially as an artist. I sat down and wrote 65 as an expression of the belief that we have to make the most of everyday that we have and to live life to the absolute fullest. It's never too late to travel someplace new, eat something you've never had, or even re-invent yourself. We have one life, here's to making the most of it. -Kurt
