I started writing this song back in 2018 with the intro guitar melody. I kinda played around with the guitar pattern for a few years trying to understand what the song was making me feel. After a break up the song really made sense. The more I played the guitar melody the more this ruminating thought started lingering in my mind. It was the idea of willingly waiting around for someone to be better for you or even yourself being better for someone else, because all you ever wanted was that person and no one else. Sometimes though, the desire to be better will never be enough for either individuals and accepting the reality that action for change is the only truth to definite love.
