I wrote this song back in the summer of 2022. At the time I was doing a social media detox and I wanted to dig deeper into understanding how I viewed the internet. Most people are just glued and would be considered addicted to it. But I always wanted to look at the internet as a tool for knowledge, growth, community, creativity, and everything else we really could imagine it to be. It's important to identify when some of our behaviors are becoming a "bit toxic" or "out of control" I still find myself glued to my phone when I don't need to. The internet feels like a friend or a lover. It's always there. Detoxes are important, but so is the internet. Find the balance and live in the balance.
