Welcome to a new ERA in MAiWORLD. WORLD 1 (a 7-song origin story of how MAiWORLD began) was my first Web3 release across Catalog, Audius, Emanate, and my custom contract. I even turned the storyline of WORLD 1 into a playable Gameboy game that mirrors MAiWORLD's creation with playable levels based on the songs. Although, to be honest, GARAGE TAPES VOL. 1 was originally going to be the first project I ever released as an artist. GARAGE TAPES is a catalog of songs initially made in my garage. In the earliest stages of MAiWORLD's creation, I made an entire ERA of music from MAi garage. I experimented with making many different songs during this time, and a relationship I was in at the time was one of the biggest inspirations for me. "GLORiFiED" is a song about that relationship. Initially written and produced five years ago from the garage, "GLORiFiED" has been reproduced/mixed countless times; this was going to be one of the first songs I released as an artist. The song starts off with a raw (and real) voicemail that leads into the lyrics that paint a scene from that time. From the relationship I was in, to the music I was making, I didn’t want to give up on either; but I felt like I was giving my all for something that I could never do. Welcome to GARAGE TAPES VOL. 1
