Blue Hour takes me to Tokyo... a place that's always been like a second home to me, but when I went there in 2000 touring my first major label release album I found a whole other side to the city that I hadn't experienced there before - underground clubs serving up the most vibrant blend of house music, jazz, breaks and beats where the dancefloor was always ready to go in any of those directions, or even a few of them at the same time. we'd perform, hang, imbide and vibe to the local DJs, eventually emerging out to that blue hour right between night and morning, having feasted on so much flavorful music. so here's a little head nod to that time and place - 1/2 a cup of house, 1/2 a cup of jazz, a few tablespoons of strings and synths... -- welcome to our third of 8 drops (!) for [$BUYBACK Emerald] with Mashibeats - the web3 music-creator community I founded.
