About a month ago I was working on music and noticed a new email pop up in my inbox. It was music promo from an artist I had never heard of before. I won't even lie.... It's pretty rare for me to open unsolicited promo. However I really liked the cover art so I decided to give it a listen. I LOVED THE SONG. loved the vocalists, loved the production, everything. I also had a suspicion that the acapella of this song would fit really well over the song I was currently working on. So I emailed back immediately and asked if I could remix it Within an hour I had all the stems I dropped the acapella over the beat I already had open in Ableton, and just as I expected it was a perfect fit. Excitedly, I sent the demo back to show off what I had just made and everyone was in agreement that this needs to come out.
