Colours Dancing, working title (All Day I Stare At A Wall And That's OK), was written during the time of isolation during the pandemic. After losing my job due to the shut downs I was faced with despair, overwhelming pressure to find a way to survive and the overall sense of hopelessness and absurdity. Confronted with various tragedy and losing many good people in my life, one day I just decided to sit down and reflect on everything. Finally taking a day to relax I managed to have a breakthrough, hence the original title "All Day I Stare At A Wall And That's OK". I was literally sat with my colour projectors on in the dark looking at all the colours on the walls thinking about how I could move forward. I mind mapped, spoke everything through out loud and decided I was going to start taking music seriously, because to me it's something that invariably connects everyone, gives us all hope and most importantly it always brings me a torrent of positive emotions. There's nothing quite like having a vague thought in your mind and watching it become this whole world. So Colours Dancing became the first solo project track I had written using Ableton and it was through this track I learned production from the ground up. It took over a year to get it to a place I was finally satisfied. As time moved on, I found blockchain and AI art, I'd finally found a home for these worlds I had been creating. I realised that they had all been a reflection of my reality and my Web3 journey. I'd never felt more at home. It’s alright, It’ll be ok, You are fine, Doing just fine.
