I wrote this song in 2019 thinking about the beauty of life and how we are tied to something deeper. There is an image I had in my head while writing this, two people sitting in the middle of nowhere, looking up at the stars, realizing how small they really are compared to everything, how life seems so pointless yet so incredibly worth it at the same time. The "Melody" is this deep knowing that there is something out there so powerful and amazing, and you can really feel (or hear) it from time to time. My choir kid came out in this one, I absolutely love harmonies and this is the one song I felt I should do a ton of them.
