The Hurricane
Falling down the cloudy dark bleak skies
Little hope but we will not comply
The hurricane
Calls out again
Make it through the storm
The lost will be reborn
Make it through the flames
Become the hurricane
Looking down at stormy dark deep seas
Never swam but we won’t let it be
The hurricane
Calls out again
Make it through the storm
The lost will be reborn
Make it through the flames
Become the hurricane
Make it through the storm
The lost will be reborn
Make it through the flames
Become the hurricane
The album's 3rd single “The Hurricane” is out on 8 March 2024 and marks a new progressiveness to the band’s sound. The single is appropriately main-songwriter Christian’s favorite DEAD STAR TALK song to date. Christian explains: “With this one a lot of things clicked – and we enjoyed quite the moment with Flemming, when we realized what we had just recorded. We for example discovered the joy of using other elements than the guitars, such as the SAZ and even whistling. It’s also quite the journey arrangement-wise. I’m proud of this one. Lyrically the song also deals with personal experiences that matter to me, celebrating the fact that the greatest comebacks and achievements in my life were born in the eye of the storm, when facing hardships head on”
