Chariot is the second track to be released off upcoming EP - THERMOPOLIUM Inspired by the last days of Pompeii, this EP is a sonic representation of little scenes in my head and poems I'd written about the last few days of Pompeii . here is a poem - Chariot Dust clouds swirl into the air like a sandstorm as horses thunder around the colosseum. Their hooves kicking in fury. The roar of the spectators becomes deafening as a chariot pulls ahead of the rest. They reach the final stretch. Screams and cheering rises to a crescendo when the winner crosses the finish line. Bets are won and lost, wine is spat and slurped by the mouthful. The crowd barrel out the colosseum, dispersing in different directions. Looking for the next form of consumption.
