It could be argued that a magical idea referred to as “manifestation” only exists in the perception of an observer. You may be wondering what the author precisely means by “perception of the observer”. That is, the quantum neurological and biochemical phenomenon where there’s a place in your mind that believes dreams can come true. In other words, your imagination. However, no one else besides the observer is aware of a particular activation of a single desire. Thoughts become things, don’t they? Therefore, each thought has potential to become a material object, right? This song, Anything You Desire (Prosperity Mix) by Sean Allen Fenn, contains a practical message. If you choose to listen to it, it would be helpful to have a very clear picture of what you desire. Before you recognize the lyric, “I am the vine, you are the branches”, keep in mind that this is a metaphor. “I Am” refers to the name of God. In the Torah, according to the book of Exodus, Elohim (God) first revealed the name “I Am” to Moses at the burning bush when commissioning him to free the Israelites from Egypt. What then, or whom specifically is “Elohim”? This is a plural word. You imagine or perceive the observer to be separate from you; for your desire to manifest from outside of yourself. In this metaphor, “the vine” is a feeling of your wish fulfilled, which makes “the branches” the manifestation of your wish fulfilled by your own thought, action, and faith. Under the condition that you ask in the name of “I Am”, personified by the one in whom you must believe, ask anything you desire and you will have it. Originally released on Sean Allen Fenn’s most recent album, Surplus (2022), Anything You Desire (Prosperity Mix) is an alternate mix. Sean Allen Fenn is an American electronic musician who plays guitar and sings without Auto-Tune, which is rare in these trying times. His first record, The Gutters of Heaven (2004) under the moniker & the Maids of Dishonor was associated with the 00’s indie scene in San Francisco. His follow-up record, No One Ever Sticks Around That Long (2008) was written with microtonal saxophone player Subhraag Singh as a band called The Eidolons in New York City. After a decade hiatus, the music came back from the dead. Music software can easily employ AI to assist composers. Since the late 1990’s Sean Allen Fenn had been creating electronic music in the Goth/Industrial scene. Here was a way to outsource the new songs while iterating on the sound of the electronic music he was making even before The Gutters of Heaven record.
By mid-August 2020, over 100 songs had been written (including 2 at the end of 2019). Half of them were generative electronic songs, 10 of which appear on the first of two new records by Sean Allen Fenn since hiatus: Freedom Gained Precision Lost (Sept 4 2020). The second release, which consists of 11 lyrical songs is titled, Surplus. Sean is writing the next record at his home studio in San Martin, CA.
