nomoon is a project that was born out of me and Matt (Sleephawk) connecting through sharing stories about the challenges of being a musician. The project was what kept us going through some hard times, and helped us fall in love with making music again. 2AM is a song that was 'the' song everyone was waiting for us to release, but as often happens life got in our way, and we ended up drifting apart. So, now after reconnecting again as Matt is heading off to start a new journey in his life working for a creative charity in the jungle in Sumatra, we decided we couldn't let another song we love sit on a hard drive. We want to share it with the world and let the people listen to it who have been waiting for us to release it publicly. This song represents the beginning of new chapters for us both and signs off in a meaning full way one of the most enjoyable and cathartic creative out puts I've been part of, and i hope it brings some value back for Matt to help support his new adventure in life.
