This release celebrates the outstanding accomplishments of Lyon County High School Lyons' Travis Perry who is the leading scorer in the history of Kentucky high school basketball and top ten in the nation. He led his team to a state championship and was named the tournament MVP and in the same season was named 2024 Kentucky Mr Basketball and averaged almost 30 points per game in his senior year. He accepted a scholarship offer to play with the University of Kentucky Wildcats from Coach John Calipari.
