'placemaker' is the title track of my most recent album with the same name. The song includes elements of ambient, lo-fi hip hop, trip-hop, and downtempo. I started this composition about 2 years ago and I recently re-discovered the files and finished it. The ideas within 'placemaker' ended up becoming the core inspiration for the whole album. This track and the rest of the album explore how music can connect us to a physical place, time, or memory. This is my first release on sound.xyz, so I am really excited to share with you all!
