Emerging from the vibrant cityscape of New York after relocating from Florida, Ashia Vu discovered her true calling in music, transcending her initial career in advertising. Inspired by the poetic and soulful depths of Jhené Aiko, Sade, Erykah Badu, and Aaliyah, she transformed her poetry into evocative R&B songs, culminating in her debut EP "Mixed Emotions" in 2019, produced with Edson Sean. Her music, characterized by its acoustic harmony and 90s R&B influence, speaks volumes of vulnerability and self-care, themes further explored in her follow-up EP, "No Energy."
