After the end of a six year relationship I didn't want to sit down with my feelings and really process what happened. I distracted myself with videogames, friends and just hanging out around the house. That changed the moment one of those friends recommended a show to me on Netflix and I had to sit down and feel what was going on inside myself. Not even 5 minutes into the show I grabbed my acoustic guitar and started singing the first lines that eventually would become 'Piece Of Me'. That night I wrote the song, recorder it and produced it entirely. From heartbreak straight into the music, that's Piece Of Me, nothing more and nothing less.
