I’ve lived lives that I can’t remember to tell wrote songs bout my friends but forgot how to spell I’ve seen one little girl who was trying to smile I could tell she’s been holding back tears for a while She was trying so hard to be seen, even I looked right past her gleam well no more I am done & I’m through with fighting I would stay by her side even if I was crying I have dreamt of love since I was 6 years old.. Whether or not this was authentic expression or preconceived notions from society, I could write pages of what I have learned thanks to love. I started writing these one liners in the spring of 2020. When the world had stopped just as I started gaining consciousness as a young adult. These pieces have been my life over many moons, across miles, and from the moments that hit most home. & this year 2024, on a leap day spoke to me as a call to finish out 2 more bass songs to make 7. Each a vulnerable living for self & all of the experience arrived to be you. Love has taught me to be patient, as a lesson to learn everyday. I pray for my love & the peace of the lives within mine. This light has shown me merciless grace, continued forgiveness, and joyous company -even for someone who might be one in 7.8 billion.
