For those of you who don’t know me, my name is Jayden and I write music under TWERL. I’m originally from Perth, Western Australia but just relocated to Bali. ‘wherever you go’ is a track that’s extremely close to my heart as it’s an emotional collaboration with my partner Pauline that is about being in a long distance relationship and having to leave each other. I still remember the moment we were in a studio session in seperate rooms and she came in to play me the demo, I instantly teared up. This is also a special moment as it’s my genesis Sound NFT and a further dive into web3 which is something that I’m extremely passionate about. There is such a high level of toxicity in the music industry right now and web3 is truely changing the game for artists, we finally have the control and value we deserve without labels manipulating and using us. I had completely lost my drive for making music due to these issues but web3 has brought back the spark along with a new direction for my sound/branding and this song is a perfect example that.
