Kinda Always Sleepy The entire EP began with this song. It was written as a gift, For Ophelia, and was originally only this song. As I was working it out in the studio, the third song, It's Already Begun, came out of me. The dream-like quality of this song fits well with Ophelia’s quixotic and pensive morning moods. This was written on acoustic guitar but I ended up recording the dreamy electric guitar first. I used my Gibson Les Paul through an EHX Epitome and a Mesa Boogie Quad through Marshall JCM1960. I backed up the electric with the Alvarez Yairi acoustic that I wrote it on. I played the drums with one brush and one stick with the snare ribbon disengaged for a very quiet beat.
